Deputy Group Curriculum Director SEND

The Role:

We are looking for a dynamic professional with a proven track record of success and a genuine desire to play a pivotal role in the strategic development of the College’s SEND provision.

The vision of becoming the largest high needs provision in the country requires strong management and a visionary leadership across the Directorate. This will enable us to provide a clear and competitive offer to the 20 boroughs that we work alongside. This offer has been aligned across the SEND Directorate and requires a DGCD (Deputy Group Curriculum Director) who shares the values and goals of the current GCD (Group Curriculum Director) and Senior Management Team.

Key Responsibilities:

You will plan, lead and develop all aspects of an appropriate curriculum for SEND learners across all college campuses. You will be responsible for a management team and will formulate and execute a clear, strategic approach to SEND provision working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Who You Are:

The DGCD for SEND is responsible for working with the GCD in ensuring the college maintains a high level of inclusive education for over 600 SEND learners, including adults. This postholder is responsible for supporting the GCD in driving up quality, maintaining strong links with local authorities and deputising for the GCD.
