Are you a skilled data migration expert with a passion for seamless transitions and innovative solutions? We’re looking for a Data Migration Engineer with SITS Implementation experience within a University or College to lead critical data migration projects and ensure smooth, secure, and successful migrations to SITS platforms.

• Previous of experience of SITS Implementation projects is essential.
• Rate: £500-600pd Outside IR35
• Fully Remote
• Contract Until December 2025

What You’ll do;

• Design, implement, and execute large-scale data migration strategies using Microsoft technologies (Azure, SQL Server, Power Platform, SharePoint, etc.).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess data requirements and ensure business continuity during migration.
• Develop scripts, tools, and processes to automate and optimize data transfers.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data integrity and performance issues during migrations.
• Document best practices, migration plans, and post-migration support procedures.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in data migration projects involving Microsoft ecosystems.
• Expertise in Azure Data Services, SQL Server, Power BI, and other Microsoft tools.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes, data mapping, and transformation techniques.
• Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, T-SQL, Python preferred) to enhance automation.
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer, MCSA, or MCSE) are a plus.
