Curriculum Manager – Health and Education
Salary: £42,000 to £47,000
Location: London
We are seeking a passionate Programme Area Manager to lead on Health and Education courses. The role also supports the Head of School in strategic leadership and contributes to cross-college initiatives.
Main responsibility of the Curriculum Manager – Health and Education
* Ensure high-quality learning and assessment.
* Support attendance, retention, and achievement targets.
* Conduct observations and provide feedback to tutors.
* Monitor enrolments and maintain course materials.
* Embed equality and diversity in the curriculum.
* Coordinate exams and manage student support.
* Engage in curriculum reviews and propose enhancements.
* Develop study routes and collaborate on progression.
* Lead recruitment and staff induction.
* Facilitate communication and support staff development.
* Teach on agreed number of hours and assess student progress.
The successful Curriculum Manager – Health and Education will be:
* Teaching Qualifications or equivalent.
* Proven success of teaching in FE, Adult Education, HE, or community education.
* Experience managing academic staff and leading 16-18 programs.
* Skills in creating teaching materials and enhancing programs.
* Ability to assess and advise diverse learners.
* Commitment to improving learner experiences.
