Job Title: Construction Curriculum Manager (Carpentry, Multi-Skills, Building Services)

Location: Essex
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 12 hours teaching per week required
Start Date: ASAP or after notice period

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Construction Curriculum Manager to join our team at a well-established Further Education College in Essex. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a strong industry background in Carpentry, Multi-skills, or Building Services to lead and shape our curriculum.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering high-quality teaching in a further education setting or similar, and have expertise in curriculum development, quality assurance, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the construction curriculum within the college, ensuring alignment with industry standards.

  • Develop and deliver high-quality teaching, with 12 hours of teaching per week required.

  • Mentor and support staff to enhance teaching quality and student outcomes.

  • Oversee curriculum development, delivery, and assessment processes to ensure consistency and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance procedures and standards.

  • Work closely with industry partners to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and up-to-date.

About You:

  • Strong industry background in Carpentry, Multi-skills, or Building Services.

  • Proven experience delivering high-quality teaching in FE or a similar educational setting.

  • Strong experience in curriculum development, quality assurance, and team leadership.

  • Ability to inspire and support both students and staff.

  • Passion for education and the development of the next generation of construction professionals.
