Compliance Officer
London
(South East London – 15 minute train from Victoria Station)
Salary up to £35k
Hybrid – 3 days office
A boutique Legal 500 firm that caters for High Net worth individuals advising on Private Client, Property, Family Law, Employment and Disputes. They also provide services for Corporate, Banking & Finance, Commercial and Real Estate, are looking to employ a Compliance Officer at their South East London office.
The role of Compliance Officer in South East London is to support the firm with Risk Management policies and procedures.
As Compliance Officer in South East London your responsibilities will include:
· On boarding of new clients – AML, Source of Funds, Conflicts, Sanctions/PEPs
· Provide support with the firms accreditations and audits such as SRA, Lexcel
· Assist with Professional Indemnity Claims
· Complaints from Clients – aligned with SRA rules, and liaison with Ombudsmen
· Internal Stakeholder Management – fee earners and partners
The requirements for the role of Compliance Officer in South East London are as follows:
· Risk & Compliance experience ideally from a Law Private Practice Firm or professional services such as Accountancy Private Practice or Financial Services
· Excellent communication skills written and verbal
· Ability to adapt to operational changes
· Appetite to learn and further develop Risk & Compliance knowledge
