Morgan Hunt is currently working with a Charity based in Central London in search of an Charity Prospect Researcher .

This role includes maintaining healthy and sustainable pipeline of philanthropic, corporate and trust prospects and lead on ethical fundraising compliance for Philanthropy and Partnerships.

Role: Charity Prospect Researcher

Contract: Permanent

Pay: £33,000

Location: Central London – Hybrid Working 1x time a week from office.

Key Responsibilities of the new Charity Prospect Researcher:

  • Manage the prospect research function within fundraising, undertaking ethical reviews, due diligence and network mapping on current and prospective donors.
  • Identify potential philanthropic, corporate, trust and statutory prospects/funding opportunities to develop P&P pipelines.
  • Conduct pipeline meetings with P&P team to track progress, making recommendations about progressing prospects through the pipeline.
  • Work closely with data management teams to manage CRM processes, ensuring that all processes are GDPR compliant and operate efficiently
  • Act as the Data Governance representative for the Fundraising Team.
  • To secure income to meet agreed fundraising targets in line with the organisation’s operational priorities.
  • Manage a portfolio of trust donors stewarding relationships to ensure donor satisfaction and long-term engagement, including detailed and timely reporting.

Previous experience of the new Charity Prospect Researcher:

  • Significant experience of undertaking research and due diligence checks within a charity or commercial setting.
  • Proven ability to proactively seek and identify new prospects as well as producing high-quality prospect research on these individuals and foundations.
  • Experience of trust fundraising, bid writing, successfully securing grants and maintaining excellent relationships with donors, in a charity setting.
  • Experience of using databases and producing data-driven management information reports
