Morgan Hunt is looking for a Business Analyst for one of our clients based in Glasgow on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Glasgow with Hybrid working.

As a Business Analyst in the Integration team, your role involves bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions. Your responsibilities include leading colleagues in integration discovery, understanding user requirements, identifying development opportunities, data mapping, and capturing business processes for solution design

Engage with business stakeholders to understand processes, challenges, and needs. Cultivate strong working relationships with business teams, ensuring open communication and trust. Analyse the effectiveness of solutions post-implementation, ensuring agreed benefits are delivered, and consider enhancements for maximum outcomes.

Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document requirements, adhering to agreed standards/templates. Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to understand business needs and objectives. Identify opportunities for process improvement through integration and propose optimised processes leveraging integration solutions.

Work with architects and technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and system designs. Define data mapping requirements to ensure seamless data exchange between systems. Design data transformation rules and processes for data standardisation and cleansing.

Validate the functionality and integrity of integration solutions with testers, business stakeholders, and developers. Facilitate issue resolution during testing. Create comprehensive documentation including business requirements documents, functional specifications, process flows, and user guides.

Key Skills we’re looking for include:

• Business analysis experience documenting data structures and processes.
• Experience of working in an Business Systems Analyst role
• Stakeholder engagement and relationship maintenance throughout the development cycle.
• Translating business processes into technology solutions in an Agile environment
• Developing reports and presentations to present insights and recommendations.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques.
• Specialist knowledge in data mapping, data quality assurance, and data governance relevant to business analysis.
