Hours: 29 hours per week

Leave: 272 hours per annum plus public holidays and additional Christmas closure

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Computing and ICT Lecturer to join a forward-thinking college in Isleworth on a fixed-term basis until July 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire learners at Levels 1 to 4 and help them develop the essential skills needed for careers in IT and software development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching across a range of courses from Level 1 to Level 4.
• Teach at various locations, including employer premises, as required.
• Contribute to the development of course materials and curriculum planning.
• Support and assess students to ensure they achieve their learning goals.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Essential Requirements:

• Degree in Computing, ICT, or a related subject OR extensive industry experience in Computing or Software Development.
• Knowledge and experience in website development and programming languages such as Python, C#, Java, and JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of computer hardware, networks, and IT concepts.
• A recognised teaching qualification or willingness to achieve one within an agreed timeframe.
• Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English.
