This job is aimed at enthusiastic experienced bricklaying professionals who want to share and guide the next generation of bricklaying professionals & get there foot into the education sector. Great opportunity to gain experience in a FE collage if you wish to progress to a lecturer or assessor down in the future – teaching & assessing qualifications may be offered to you down the line.

The Ideal Bricklaying Technician will responsible for:

• Support students in the completion of their practical work under the direction of members of the teaching staff and be committed to promoting the college’s commitment to best practice in equality
• To maintain the construction workshops and associated equipment and provide support to students and staff.
• Responsibilities for stock control and monitoring.

The Ideal Bricklaying Technician will need:

• Level 2 bricklaying qualification – minimum
• Practical experience within the Industry
• Be available 3 – 5 days a week.
• Have the ability to engage different learners through a range of teaching resources.
• Have an enhanced DBS issued within the last 6 months or on the update service
