Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Beauty Lecturer to join our team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction across a range of beauty-related subjects, equipping students with the practical and theoretical knowledge required for success in the beauty industry. This role involves creating engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver dynamic and effective teaching in a variety of beauty subjects, including skincare, makeup artistry, nail technology, and beauty therapy
• Develop, update, and implement course materials in line with industry standards and the curriculum
• Assess student performance and provide constructive, timely feedback to support their learning journey
• Offer academic and career guidance to students, encouraging their professional development within the beauty industry
• Contribute to curriculum development and improvement through collaboration with colleagues
• Keep up to date with the latest beauty industry trends, ensuring that course content is relevant and current

Key Requirements

• A qualification in Beauty Therapy, Beauty Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed) or a commitment to obtaining one
• Proven experience in teaching beauty-related subjects at a post-secondary level
• Strong industry knowledge in various aspects of beauty therapy and practices
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
• A passion for teaching and supporting students to achieve their potential in the beauty industry

Desirable Skills

• Experience in teaching beauty subjects at various levels (e.g., vocational, higher education)
• Familiarity with e-learning platforms and modern teaching techniques
• Industry experience in beauty-related roles
