Position Details:

Job Title: Bakery Studies Lecturer

Location: Northamptonshire

Hours: Part-time

Start Date: ASAP (pending interview)

Contract Type: Temporary (potential to become permanent)

Pay Rate: £28 – £32 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging baking lessons that cater to a range of abilities

• Teach and demonstrate advanced baking techniques and practical skills

• Provide mentorship, support, and constructive feedback to students, fostering their development and enthusiasm for the craft

• Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and innovations to enhance teaching practices

Requirements:

• Proven experience in the baking industry, with hands-on expertise in professional baking or culinary arts.

• Previous experience as a Bakery Studies Lecturer or similar teaching role, preferably within a college setting

• Minimum GCSE qualifications in Maths and English

• Certification in baking or culinary arts (preferred but not essential)

• A valid DBS check registered with the online update service or willingness to apply for one
