Position: Audit Supervisor
Location: Central London
Hybrid Working: Three days in the office, two days at home

We are currently working with a leading firm in Central London seeking an experienced Audit Supervisor to join their busy and growing audit team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is ACA/ACCA qualified with up to 2 years post-qualification experience and a solid background in handling large, complex clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage audits from start to finish, including planning, fieldwork, and finalisation.
• Supervise junior staff, delegate tasks effectively, and provide clear instructions while ensuring deadlines are met.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients, managing expectations across the firm.
• Perform complex audit fieldwork, including reviewing stock, debtors, creditors, intangibles, investments, and provisions.
• Oversee statutory account preparation, ensuring correct financial statement disclosures.
• Handle finalisation processes, including audit highlights memos and final analytical reviews.
• Manage reclassification and adjusting journals to ensure accurate financial statement presentation.
• Work closely with the tax team to resolve queries and assist with Corporation Tax computations.
• Supervise audits for smaller, straightforward clients, providing oversight and guidance to semi-senior and junior staff.

Who You Are:

• ACA/ACCA qualified with up to 2 years post-qualification experience.
• Strong experience with large and complex consolidations; IFRS experience is highly desirable.
• Proficient with Caseware or similar audit software.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage relationships internally and externally.
• Strong attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Proactive, with a strong work ethic, capable of managing a demanding workload in a fast-paced environment.
• A team player with leadership abilities, keen to mentor and support junior staff.
