Audit Supervisor – Watford

Location: Watford, Hertfordshire

A reputable accountancy firm is looking to expand their team and is seeking an experienced Audit Supervisor. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to progress their career and play a key role in managing audits for a broad range of clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take the lead in managing audits under the direction of a senior manager or principal.
• Supervise and coordinate on-site audit teams, providing guidance and support to junior staff.
• Handle the planning and completion of audits, including the preparation of management letters.
• Assist with delegated tasks from the Audit Managers, including planning, completion, and file reviews.
• Support in the development and training of student staff through hands-on supervision
• Work with a wide variety of clients including SMEs, mid-sized corporate clients and some international subsidiaries.

The Ideal Candidate:

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
• At least 2 years’ audit experience within a UK-based accountancy firm.
• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage with clients and colleagues.
