Pentagon Talent are excited to be partnering with a fast-growing, well-established mid-tier accountancy firm in Finchley to recruit a driven Audit Semi-Senior to join their expanding audit team. Key Responsibilities:
- Audit & Accounts: Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of audits for a diverse portfolio of clients, including those reporting under FRS102, ensuring work is delivered to a high standard.
- Client Portfolio: Support in managing and servicing a varied client portfolio across multiple industries, including PLCs, while ensuring quality service delivery.
- Statutory Accounts: Assist in the preparation and review of statutory accounts, ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards and statutory regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Support senior team members and managers in supervising and developing junior staff, ensuring effective training and guidance on audit processes.
- Client Communication: Act as a point of contact for clients, assisting with queries and contributing to the maintenance of strong client relationships.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure audits are completed in line with UK GAAP, FRS102, and other relevant standards, within deadlines and budgetary expectations.
- Work Planning & Organisation: Assist in planning audits and other client engagements, contributing to the delivery of high-quality services efficiently.
Key Skills & Experience:
- ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) Part-Qualified with some experience in audit or accounts preparation, including exposure to FRS102 and statutory accounts.
- Understanding of UK Accounting Standards and auditing practices.
- Good Communication Skills: Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with clients and senior staff.
- Proactive & Organised: Ability to manage workloads, priorities, and deadlines in a busy and dynamic environment.
- Experience with Audit Software and familiarity with accounting software is advantageous.
- Motivated to Develop: An ambition to progress in your career and further your technical expertise.
