Senior Audit & Accounts Manager / Partner Designate
London | £80,000 – £110,000 + Benefits | Route to Equity Partner
A dynamic and well-established four-partner accountancy firm in Central London is seeking an experienced Senior Audit & Accounts Manager / Partner Designate to join their growing team. This newly created position has arisen to support the senior partners and help drive the firm’s future development.
This is a pivotal role for a qualified and ambitious professional looking to take the next step towards partnership. You’ll work closely with the partners, helping to free up their time for business development by overseeing the firm’s audit function and supporting the general management of the practice.
You’ll be the key link between the partners and the wider team, including direct oversight of an established Audit Manager, and will gradually be introduced to a growing portfolio of clients including complex consolidated accounts and IFRS work.
Oversee the audit department and supervise the Audit Manager
Support with assurance and overall practice operations
Act as the bridge between senior partners and staff
Lead client meetings and maintain strong client communication
Play a proactive role in business development and fee generation
Contribute to the strategic growth of the firm
Potential to take on the RI role (or work towards it)
ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
Strong communication and client relationship skills
Proven managerial experience within an accountancy practice
Commercially minded with an appetite for growth and progression
Experience with IFRS and group consolidations a bonus
Desire to progress to Partner level (Salary Partner to start, with equity on offer)
Competitive salary (£80,000 – £110,000 depending on experience)
Clear progression to Equity Partner (one existing partner due to retire)
