Assistant Floating Support Worker
Location: Pan London
Day 1 – West: Hillingdon & Hounslow.
Day 2 – East: Havering, Romford, Barking & Dagenham.
Day 3 – South: Croydon, Lewisham & Greenwich.
Day 4 – North: Enfield.
(Then repeat)
80% in the community, 20% in the office, you can choose Hackney or Lambeth
Length of Assignment: 2-3 months initially
Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00-17:00
Pay: £13.71+holiday pay = £15.36 per hour or £17.20 umbrella
Must have an enhanced DBS Issued within the last 12 months (or on the update service)
Purpose of the service:
Help people get into suitable and stable accommodation, acting as a stepping stone between supported and private accommodation
Client group
Previously homeless adults with low support needs
Duties:
Visiting clients within their own homes to carry out welfare checks across London and carry out checks over the phone. Carrying out 3-4 initial assessments of clients referred to the service a week.
Experience:
Entry level role, you do not need to have worked in a floating support role before, this is a great opportunity for people looking to work within floating support or housing. This would serve to really enhance your CV towards a promising career path in the sector, for the right candidate!
