Join a dynamic team as an Anti-Social Behaviour and Domestic Abuse Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in managing and resolving cases of anti-social behaviour and domestic abuse. Your proactive approach will help reduce anti-social behaviour, sustain tenancies, and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Case Management and Resolution: Take a robust approach to tackling anti-social behaviour by enforcing tenancy terms and conditions, conducting thorough investigations, serving notices, and taking court action when necessary.

Support for Victims: Proactively support victims of domestic abuse by collaborating with partnership agencies and actively participating in MARAC and other partnership forums.

Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with local police, national enforcement agencies (e.g., immigration services), and local authority enforcement teams, including environmental health and anti-social behaviour units.

Caseload Management: Effectively prioritise and manage a diverse caseload while ensuring meticulous record-keeping and administration across all areas of tenancy management.

Legislative Compliance: Stay updated on all developments in legislation, policy, regulation, and best practices for managing and resolving anti-social behaviour.

Proactive Interventions: Utilise a range of tools such as mediation referrals, home visits, interviews, warning letters, acceptable behaviour contracts, injunction applications, and possession proceedings to address and mitigate anti-social behaviour.

Legal Proceedings: Prepare comprehensive casework to support robust tenancy enforcement, including accurate drafting of court documents, witness statements, and evidence bundles. Work with external solicitors to successfully progress and pursue legal proceedings.

Community Engagement: Act on the Community Trigger and other legislative requirements to proactively manage anti-social behaviour, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all residents.

Administrative Support: Document tenancy visits/audits, draft notices, assist with processing succession applications, transfer applications, and tenancy renewals related to the management of anti-social behaviour.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience in managing cases of anti-social behaviour and domestic abuse.

Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices.

Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.

Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders.

Strong organisational and caseload management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
