I am delighted to once again be supporting this developer as they look to appoint an experienced Architect or Architectural Technologist to their business based in Elgin.

The role
Will be working closely with the firms Managing Director to design and deliver a mix of commercial and residential developments. These projects will be usually up to £2.5m in value, and range from small bespoke residential development, to industrial buildings, retail units, commercial offices and warehouses.

You will nee to be able to design a projects from concept right through to handover. This will therefore include most tasks from RIBA stage 0-7.

As you will be the only Architectural team member in this side of the business, it is important that you can work autonomously

Experience required for the role

• Minimum of 5 years experience based in the UK
• Be able to lodge planning applications, and achieve building warrants
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential as this is their main software
• Strong knowledge of Scottish Building Regs
• Being able to work independently will be key
• Be a strong communicator as there will be a lot of client engagement. Both internally and externally.
• Full, clean UK driving licence
