Position: Animal Care Lecturer

Details:

• Teach and assess Animal Care and Science subjects up to Level 3 to a diverse range of students.
• Deliver engaging and practical lessons, covering topics such as animal health, welfare, and behaviour.
• Motivate and support learners to achieve their qualifications and career aspirations.
• Provide a hands-on, student-focused learning environment that promotes industry skills and knowledge.
• Support curriculum development and deliver innovative teaching practices.

Ideal Criteria:

• A relevant degree or qualification in a related subject to Animal Care.
• A full UK recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent).
• Experience of teaching at further education and training level and experience working within the Animal care sector
• Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (mandatory requirement).
