Morgan Hunt is working with a leading Further Education College based in East Midlands. We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and experienced teacher to join their excellent Level 1 & 2 Animal Care department.

Role: Animal Care Teacher
Location: East Midlands
Job Type: Temporary
Hours: Full time

The successful candidate will be required to:

· Deliver high quality, inspirational teaching which encourages learners enrolled in Level 1 and 2 Animal Care courses to reach their full potential

· Participate in the resourcing and preparation of the course delivery and assessment

· Undertake course administration and internal quality assurance

· Promote progression on to higher level courses or preparing them for careers working with animals.

· Maintain accurate records of student’s attendance, grades, and overall performance.

What we’re looking for:

· Experience teaching Levels 1-3 in Animal Care

· Proven experience of providing outstanding support for students

· Up to date knowledge and experience of animal husbandry including the handling, feeding and behaviour of animals is essential.

· Experience of teaching and delivering the City &Guilds Technical certificate in Animal care at Level 2 is desirable

· Up-to-date industry CPD and experience is a requirement.

· Right to Work & Enhanced Adult/Child DBS dated within the last 12 months or on the update service
