Are you a passionate and knowledgeable History expert with a strong desire to inspire and educate the next generation of students? Our dynamic and forward-thinking Further Education and Training College in East London is looking for a dedicated A-Level History Lecturer to join our team!

As an A-Level History Lecturer, you will have the opportunity to teach, guide, and support our students as they embark on their academic journey, helping them to achieve their full potential in one of the most rewarding and engaging subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging A-Level History lessons that adhere to the curriculum and academic standards.
  • Create an inclusive and positive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters intellectual curiosity.
  • Monitor, assess, and track student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with fellow staff members to ensure a cohesive and dynamic learning experience for all students.
  • Actively contribute to the college’s academic growth and development.

Requirements:

  • A degree in History or a related field (essential).
  • Proven experience in teaching A-Level History (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of the A-Level History curriculum and examination requirements.
  • Passion for teaching and inspiring students to achieve their best.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A mandatory requirement for an enhanced DBS check on the update service.
