Leicester College is excited to announce a unique opportunity for an inspiring Sports Development Officer who has the vision, expertise, and drive to shape the future success of our Sports Academies and play a key role in increasing sports participation across the community.
In this dynamic and influential role, you will work closely with the Programme Area Manager (PAM) to enhance and expand our Sports Academies, ensuring that they achieve excellence and continue to attract talented student-athletes to Leicester College. You will collaborate with a wide range of internal and external partners, including sports staff, coaches, the Student Enrichment Team (SET), Mattioli Arena staff, and other community organisations to create a culture of excellence, growth, and inclusivity in sports.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the strategic development of our sports programs, ensuring they remain at the cutting edge of innovation, accessibility, and performance. Your leadership will help to shape the future of sport at Leicester College, ensuring that our academies meet the needs and aspirations of students while supporting their progression into the industry.
This is a full-time, all-year round, permanent position based across all campuses, offering an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant and growing sports team within the Childcare, Health, Sport and Science Department.
