Job title – IT Housing Consultant

Rate: £375 per day

Location: Remote (but need to visit office in Central Scotland at least twice in the contract)

An exciting opportunity has become available for an IT Housing Consultant to join my client, on a contract basis

Purpose: We are looking for an IT Consultant/specialist to support the Association with the implement of various information technology tasks. The IT Consultant/Specialist will provide strategic and operational advice to Our client relating to Information Technology.

Person Specification:

• The development of a robust IT and Cybersecurity policy
• Progressing the implementation of Internal audit recommendations relating to IT security
• Review and implement any testing, upskilling or system changes to ensure we comply (and continue to comply) with the ‘new’ IT policy
• Contribute to the Business Continuity Plan in areas relating to IT
• Undertake a review to ensure that we are using our current systems as effectively as possible and the consistent use amongst the team including identifying any training needs and areas of improvement
• Lead with production of an IT support tender and tendering processing to ensure value for money and sufficient level of IT support service support.

Requirements:

• Experience of a leadership & advisory role
• Strong Social Housing background
