This offer has been aligned across the SEND Directorate and requires a DGCD (Deputy Group Curriculum Director) who shares the values and goals of the current GCD (Group Curriculum Director) and Senior Management Team.
Key Responsibilities:
You will plan, lead and develop all aspects of an appropriate curriculum for SEND learners across all college campuses. You will be responsible for a management team and will formulate and execute a clear, strategic approach to SEND provision working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Who You Are:
The DGCD for SEND is responsible for working with the GCD in ensuring the college maintains a high level of inclusive education for over 600 SEND learners, including adults. This postholder is responsible for supporting the GCD in driving up quality, maintaining strong links with local authorities and deputising for the GCD.

Any offers of appointment may be withdrawn if these checks prove to be unsatisfactory to the College. Self-disclosure will be required as part of the recruitment process. If you fail to make a full disclosure or provide sight of your DBS certificate then your offer of employment is likely to be withdrawn. The College’s DBS policy covers the recruitment of ex-offenders which is available upon request.
