HR Manager, 6 month FTC – Education Sector – East London (with hybrid working) – c£50,000

This is a great opportunity for an immediately available HR Generalist with a strong employee relations skill set to work for a leading FE College.

You will be responsible for managing a proactive customer focused HR service. Your key accountabilities will include:-

  • Ensuring clear and standardised HR policies and processes are set and HR best practice is promoted
  • Coaching and developing the HR Advisors
  • Managing complex employee relations issues including disciplinaries, grievances and tribunals
  • Ensuring that fair and safer recruitment practices are adhered to including ensuring the Single Central Record is up to date
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement

You should be an experienced HR Generalist or ER Specialist with a strong knowledge of HR best practice including an excellent knowledge of employment law. Experience of working in the public or not for profit sectors is essential and needs to be combined with an ability to coach and develop a team.
