An exciting vacancy is available as Director of Information and Planning in the Senior Leadership Team at Cardiff and the Vale College. This post will be primarily based at the City Centre campus, with partial home working supported in line with the College’s standard policy.  Travel between College sites will also be required from time to time.  The successful candidate will be a member of the College’s Senior Management Team and will contribute more widely to the leadership, growth and success of the College group.

Summary of key responsibilities:

to deliver high-quality, standardised, easily-accessible information systems that support managers to make timely, evidence-based decisions, and facilitate compliance with funding and other regulatory requirements;

to be responsible for data governance and security across the College;

to provide leadership and expertise in curriculum and operational planning processes;

to ensure the effective planning, utilisation and maximisation of all sources of funding available to the College.

The successful candidate will be a member of the College’s Senior Management Team and will contribute more widely to the leadership, growth and success of the College group.

Welsh language skills are not essential but would be desirable for this role.
