Duties and responsibilities
Our client are looking for an ambitious professional, who will be expected to act largely autonomously, subject to support and oversight, as required, by the office’s tax partners and directors. Relationship management will be a key aspect of the role and the candidate will be expected to contribute to effective team working as part of the management team, responsible for coordinating directly with clients, collaborating effectively with colleagues as well coaching, managing, mentoring, and appraising junior team members. You will be carrying out a range of duties and responsibilities including but not limited to;
Qualifications and skills required
In order to succeed as a Tax Senior, you will need to have strong corporate tax technical and practical knowledge and good knowledge of tax issues affecting OMB’s and their shareholders. Knowledge of UK accounting standards and competent in interpreting accounts and other financial information is essential but knowledge of other business taxes and tax reporting processes is preferable but not essential. Strong IT skills including MS Office and databases, Alphatax ideal but not essential.
