About the role:
If you have a passion for delivering outstanding customer service and are looking for a new opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
We are looking for a Reception Team Leader to join the College reception team in delivering excellent reception and switchboard service to our stakeholders. The role is multifaceted and so no two days are the same as you work closely with colleagues and staff across all skill levels and departments, including our learners and their families. There are also exciting events throughout the year, such as enrolment, open days, parents evenings, where your participation is key in ensuring the smooth running of these events.
You will be a strong and fair leader with a calm and strategic approach as you will support and oversee the reception team. Each visitor and customer is given the same warmth and professional service and so you will be enthusiastic and have the ability to motivate yourself and others, which will create a positive and thriving environment to work in.
Maintaining the welfare of your team and supporting their development is vital in the College, as is maintaining high professional standards. An experienced Executive Assistant will support you as you carry out your role.
You will actively and continuously identify, lead on and contribute to delivering improvements to the service, ensuring the diverse and ever-changing needs of our students and staff are exceeded. Creating the right environment and atmosphere is important in maintaining high standards so you will be proactive in reversing negative situations, managing complaints and identifying and reporting risks.
