Advice & Recruitment Officers x 2
The Advice and Recruitment Officers will be part of a strong professional recruitment team that manages and implements the College’s student recruitment strategy.
The Advice and Recruitment Officers will work across all aspects of the learner journey, working closely with the Advice & Recruitment, Marketing and Careers teams. The roles will involve working closely with curriculum and support teams and liaising with schools and parents and carers. The ability to work collaboratively is key. The post holders will support the College in delivering our student recruitment targets.
The post holders will play a key role in the planning, coordinating and implementing the college’s student recruitment and enrolment processes. They will be responsible for ensuring that prospective and continuing students receive high-quality information, advice and guidance (IAG) to help them make informed decisions about their post-16 education.
They will also be responsible for providing information, advice and guidance to parents and carers. Some of the duties are carried out in the early evenings, so flexibility is required.
The successful candidates will work well with 16-19 year-olds and contribute to our student-centred environment. They will have a genuine interest in young people and how they become resilient adults, able to make informed choices about their next steps.
If you are passionate about supporting learners to achieve their full potential, then we would love to hear from you.
The College combines great facilities with quality teaching and high standards, including a multi-million pound building, providing state of the art technology enabled learning resource centre, drama studio and café.
We will offer you a warm welcome – a place where all ambitions are celebrated. As one of the largest sixth form colleges in London, we are a non-selective, diverse and secular college, proud to have launched over 50,000 young people onto university, training and employment since we were founded in 1992.
The College is currently graded as ‘Good’ by Ofsted, and ‘Outstanding’ for our provision of personal development, behaviour and welfare. We are very proud to be a three-time silver award winner at the Pearson National Teaching Awards, where in 2020, we made history by becoming the first ever provider to win two awards in a single year.
We believe that everybody has the power to make a positive impact on society – small changes that add up to make the world a better place.
Our motto is: Diverse in Ambition, United in Success
What’s in it for you?
We offer the opportunity to help develop your skills and knowledge in a friendly team environment, plus a range of benefits including a career average pension scheme (LGPS), employee assistance programme, onsite parking, cycle to work, onsite canteen, TECH Scheme, Eye Care support and full access to the onsite gym.
Equality, diversity and inclusion
We are committed to creating and promoting a diverse and inclusive workforce that better reflects the wider community we support. We particularly welcome applicants from groups currently under-represented in senior roles, including females, Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME), people with disabilities and from the LGBTQ community.
Safeguarding
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of our students and expect everybody working for the College to share this commitment. We actively seek DBS clearance checks for applications of employment as part of our safeguarding procedures.
