Are you a Housing Officer looking for work in London?

Morgan Hunt’s Public Sector and Government client based in London is looking to recruit a Housing Options & Assessment Officer to provide support throughout a busy period.

This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35.

As a Housing Officer, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining our housing stock, ensuring that our tenants, leaseholders, and neighbors receive excellent service. You will be responsible for tenancy management, neighborhood services, leasehold issues, and handling anti-social behavior (ASB) cases. Your expertise will contribute to the effective delivery of our housing and homelessness services.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:

  • Tenancy Management: Manage all aspects of tenancy, including allocations, renewals, terminations, and enforcement of tenancy agreements. Provide support and advice to tenants on their rights and responsibilities.
  • Neighborhood Services: Work collaboratively with residents to improve and maintain the quality of our neighborhoods. Address community concerns and foster a sense of community through engagement and partnership working.
  • Leasehold Management: Handle leasehold properties, ensuring compliance with lease agreements, managing service charges, and addressing leaseholder queries and disputes.
  • Anti-Social Behavior (ASB): Respond to and manage reports of anti-social behavior, working with residents, local authorities, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve community safety.
  • Housing and Homelessness: Support the delivery of homelessness prevention services, providing advice and assistance to individuals and families at risk of homelessness.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring all interactions with residents are handled professionally, empathetically, and effectively.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all interactions and activities, preparing reports as required.
