Position: TST Worker – Homeless / Drug and Alcohol
Location: Kingston
Contract: 3-month rolling (potential for permanent)
Hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

A homelessness charity in Kingston is seeking a Tenancy Support Worker to provide floating support to clients in supported housing or privately rented accommodation.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver support to formerly homeless or vulnerably housed individuals.
• Assess client needs and secure suitable housing.
• Help clients set and achieve tenancy goals.
• Provide guidance, crisis intervention, and future planning.
• Conduct client assessments and casework.
• Assist with financial matters, including welfare and housing benefits.
• Occasionally enter client rooms alone, with an app provided for safety.

Requirements:

• Experience in homelessness or social care.
• Strong IT skills and accurate record-keeping.
• Proficient in writing reports and client notes.
• Skilled in client assessments and interviews.
• Independent worker with creative task management.
• Enhance DBS (Child +Adult)
