Are you a Allocations & Voids Manager looking for work in West London?

Morgan Hunt’s Public Sector and Government client based in West London, is looking to recruit a Allocations & Voids Manager to provide support throughout a busy period.

This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35.

As a Allocations & Voids Manager, will be responsible for minimizing void times, efficiently allocating properties, and ensuring that all processes comply with relevant policies and regulations.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:

  • Oversee the entire void process from end of tenancy to new tenant occupation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize void times and ensure properties are re-let promptly.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure void properties are inspected, repaired, and cleaned to a high standard before re-letting.
  • Monitor void performance and produce regular reports to senior management.
  • Manage the allocations process to ensure properties are allocated in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant housing legislation and regulations in the allocation of properties.
  • Maintain accurate records of all allocations and provide reports on allocation performance.
  • Liaise with local authorities, support agencies, and other stakeholders to coordinate allocations and meet housing needs.
  • Oversee the lettings process, ensuring all necessary checks and documentation are completed for new tenants.
  • Provide guidance and support to the lettings team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the lettings process and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of staff responsible for voids, lettings, and allocations.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to ensure high standards of service delivery.
  • Ensure a customer-focused approach to voids, lettings, and allocations, providing excellent service to tenants and applicants.
  • Handle complex cases and complaints, ensuring prompt resolution and continuous improvement of services.
