Morgan Hunt is currently working with a Charity based in North West London, in search of a permanent Head of Engagement to lead the challenges and community and regular giving teams.
This role is offered on permanent, full time basis, working hybrid from the North West London Office.
The salary for the position is up to £50,000 p/a plus benefits.
Key responsibilities of the Head of Engagement:
– Develop and implement comprehensive strategies aligned to the Fundraising/Income Generation Departmental Plan, Business Development initiatives and the organisations strategy, to maximise external impact with focus on engagement, fundraising and communications
– Develop best practice approach for major appeals and campaigns and create reports on fundraising activity and outcomes.
– Ensure publicity and brand assets are produced in a timely manner to support the over-arching fundraising campaigns. Oversee the organisations website and content.
– Manage a small team of fundraising professionals, including but not limited to: Challenges manager, Community Fundraising Manager and Events executive
Previous experience of the Head of Engagement :
– Sound understanding of the principles of the fundraising code and practice.
– Strong design skills with brand awareness
– Staff management experience- able to upskill, positively influence and motivate staff members
– Experience working with volunteers and community fundraising groups
