This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and creative professional to join The City of Liverpool College as its Director of Marketing & Communications, building on our recent successes to drive growth and extend our influence across the Liverpool City Region – and beyond. The successful candidate will join a strategic leadership team which welcomes innovation and high aspirations, and a college that is ready to take its next step in terms of impact and reach.
We are looking for a critical thinker with a creative side: someone with a track record in customer acquisition, strong stakeholder engagement and a finger on the pulse when it comes to public affairs. The post-holder must be able to influence directly and via a matrix management approach, working collaboratively across the college and external networks to engage a wide and varied cross-section of communities as part of our inclusive approach to education.
The City of Liverpool College serves over 10,000 students and close to 700 staff as well as hundreds of employers and the wider community across Liverpool and the City Region. As an insight-driven, ambitious college, COLC is home to ground-breaking innovation and a crucial part of the educational ecosystem in the City Region. Our ambitious approach to turning disadvantage to advantage through all aspects of our delivery means the successful applicant will be supported to play a leading role in opening doors for thousands of individuals across the City Region as part of a transformative and life-enhancing student experience.
Interviews are expected to take place the week commencing 24th June 2024. Please note: we are proud of the diversity within our city and want to ensure that the city’s diversity is reflected at all levels within our workforce. To help achieve this within our leadership teams, we are guaranteeing an interview for all individuals who meet the essential criteria and are from a minority ethnic background and/or declaring a disability.
