Diversity and Inclusion Officer Liverpool
We have an exciting contract opportunity available for a Diversity and Inclusion Officer to join a University in Liverpool on a 6month fixed term contract to start ASAP. This role offers hybrid working, and a salary up to £36,000 (pro rata).
Role Diversity and Inclusion Officer
- The post requires experience working on DI initiatives, facilitating DI workshops and development offerings to ensure a positive impact on an organisation.
- Implement the University Diversity and Inclusion Priorities and facilitate training/workshops.
- Diversity and Inclusion Charter Marks and other Accreditations
- Research and Identification of Good practice and producing Guidance documents:
- Any other duties commensurate with the grade as deemed necessary by the Associate Director, Diversity, and Inclusion
Skills and Experience Diversity and Inclusion Officer
- Experience with awareness-raising activities and facilitating workshops and events to drive the delivery of our inclusivity agenda.
- Experience of working in the diversity and inclusion field and with focus on, disability gender, race and LGBTQI+ equality
- Experience of providing high quality specialist diversity and inclusion training to colleagues at all levels of an organisation
- Experience of providing high quality specialist diversity and inclusion advice to colleagues at all levels of an organisation
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritising workloads and competing deadlines.
- High level digital skills/proficiency in Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, MS project, PowerPoint, Outlook, web design.
- Experience of Equality and Diversity Charter Marks application processes such as Athena Swan, Race Charter, etc.
- Experience of translating equality legislation into practice to ensure an organisation meet statutory requirements
