Supported Housing Officer needed!

Location: Brent, London

Hours: 37.5 Hours a week

Must have an enhanced DBS Issued within the last 12 months (or on the update service)

Pay: Negotiable

Contract – Ongoing

Job Summary:

• Conduct Personal Housing Plans and Risk assessments
• Support clients in achieving their housing goals
• Assist clients with housing, support needs, and independent living
• Provide advice on tenancy management and report repairs
• Maintain regular client contact to implement housing plans
• Offer budgeting, income maximisation, and debt management support
• Collaborate with agencies to promote health and well-being
• Refer clients to specialist organisations as needed
• Liaise with partners during tenancy breakdowns
• Attend multi-agency meetings to advocate for clients
• Perform regular visits and provide monthly statistics

Experience Required:

• Minimum two years in support work or similar setting
• Ability to build nonjudgmental relationships with vulnerable clients
• Experience with homelessness and mental health issues
• Strong communication skills with clients and peers
• Independent work ethic with time management skills
• Positive liaison with other agencies
