• Management Accountant

  Morgan Hunt is working with a University in London who are looking at recruiting a Management Accountant. This is a 6-month Temporary role paying up to £215 p/day and will offer hybrid working.

  You will be responsible for the delivery of all aspects of the University’s management accounting, including cost management, cash flow management, variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting.

  Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant:

  • Deliver management accounting services including cost management and ensuring entries required are accurate to the management accounts
  • Manage the cashflow working closely with the Treasury management function to ensure the current / projected balances are maintained and accurate
  • Perform analysis on the month end reporting and identify the underlying reasons for any unexpected differences
  • Produce monthly management accounts and dashboards with supporting commentary to enable monitoring and support management insight
  • Perform reviews and reconciliations of the accounts and ensure any accounting entries required are made to maintain the accuracy of the accounts

  Previous Skills and Experience of the Accountant:

  • Fully Qualified AAT / CIMA / ACCA (or equivalent)
  • Service delivery
  • Ideally worked in a Higher Education industry
  • Strong usage of Microsoft Office software
