We are excited to partner with a leading firm in Central London to recruit an Audit Senior. Our client serves a broad range of businesses, including large corporates, listed companies, and SMEs across various sectors. As an Audit Senior, you will be pivotal in overseeing audits, leading teams, and providing strategic insights for high-profile clients, while continuing your professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage audits for a varied portfolio of clients, including large corporations and SMEs, from planning through to completion.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and training throughout the audit process.
  • Review and prepare financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and offering strategic advice.
  • Identify and resolve complex audit issues, ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting and auditing standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver integrated services, including tax and advisory.
  • Assist in managing the firm’s audit methodology, ensuring audits are conducted efficiently and within budget.
  • Support the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management and clients.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified with significant experience in auditing (ideally at least 3-4 years).
  • Strong knowledge of auditing and accounting principles, with experience leading audits from start to finish.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop a team of auditors.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Detail-oriented, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under pressure.
  • Experience in financial statement preparation and strong technical knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for added value and business growth.
