Never has it been a more exciting time to join the Marketing and Communications department as we undergo a significant transformation and shape the future of South Essex Colleges Group, moving forwards our ambitious growth plans and marketing strategy.
Following a restructure within the directorate, the new role of Marketing Manager (PR and Communications), will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategic marketing, public relations, and communication plans to enhance the college’s brand and reputation, and engage our stakeholders. Your expertise in PR, media relations, social media, and content creation will drive positive PR stories, build strong relationships with prospective students and key stakeholders, and effectively manage communications both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities will include leading all PR and press activities across the college, to raising the college’s profile regionally, developing and share compelling stories that highlight the college group’s successes and to proactively lead our social media strategy and presence in line with the college group’s goals.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate, with heaps of energy and initiative. With your natural creative flair and exceptional communication skills, you will have the ability to create clear plans to develop our brand reputation, turning daily college life into captivating content that truly resonates with our target audience. With a strong PR or Communications background, you will be highly organised, persuasive, an exceptional communicator and have the desire to excel in this newly created role.
The role holder will work closely with the Marketing Manager (Brand and Campaigns) and will report to the Director of Marketing, Communications and Admissions.
