Fircroft is a residential college occupying a former Cadbury family home, set on six acres of beautiful grounds in Selly Oak, Birmingham. We were originally founded to provide educational opportunities for some of the most disadvantaged and excluded members of society. One hundred years on from the birth of Fircroft College, its mission of ‘social justice’ is more relevant than ever.
We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant (Part-time 22.5h) to provide learning and pastoral support to students and assist with the work of Student Services.
To be considered for this role you must have good experience and knowledge of a range of learning needs, difficulties and dealing with people with different requirements and have experience in successfully implementing a range of learning support strategies.
The right person will be someone who enjoys working at a fast pace with a variety of different tasks, who is self-managed with a strong work ethic, who has a positive outlook and a ‘can do’ attitude and who is a completer/finisher.
