Pentagon Talent have teamed up with a top 10 leading law firm who are searching for a Practice Operations Executive to join their dynamic team. A global player in the market and a strong wealth of experience, our client has more than 150 years worth experience providing further growth to the business and more than an impressive 4,000 employees worldwide.
This London based role is seeking an individual who has a minimum of 2 years worth of experience within a billing/paralegal environment and with a creditable history of managing the day to day tasks such as matter set up, invoice production, queries and understanding collection processes.
Duties/Responsibilities of the Practice Operations Executive
· Assisting with all aspects of the billing cycle, including time capture, narrative edits, invoice production, and submission to clients.
· Handling internal and external invoice-related queries, liaising with lawyers, the Revenue team, and clients to ensure prompt payments with minimal delays.
· Developing a strong understanding of clients’ billing and collection processes while working closely with partners, associates, and revenue managers to manage outstanding debts.
· Utilising Firm applications such as Timesheet Writer and ServiceNow to manage narrative remediation, track tasks, and support the Revenue Team Helpdesk.
· Running revenue-related reports and assisting with ad-hoc revenue tasks as required.
· Ensuring compliance with billing guidelines, adhering to client instructions, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Desired experience of the Practice Operations Executive
· 1-2 years’ experience in a professional services environment, ideally in a PA or paralegal capacity.
· Excellent customer service orientation with a proactive and professional approach.
· Competent IT skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· A confident and constructive approach to suggesting new ideas and process improvements.
