Finance Manager

Morgan Hunt are working with a well-established organisation based in Enfield who are looking at recruiting a Finance Manager. This is a permanent role paying up to £52,000. This role will be fully office based.

Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager:

• Oversee the Finance Department, ensuring it delivers an efficient and professional service.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory deadlines including tax, audit, and reporting requirements.
• Develop and manage the organisation’s accounting, VAT, CIS, and payroll software.
• Produce and deliver management reports, profit & loss statements, and balance sheets.
• Manage, mentor, and coach the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal managers, external stakeholders, and suppliers.
• Oversee cash flow management and ensure overdue debt is maintained within agreed targets.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to enhance the strategic and financial value of the department.

Previous Skills and Experience of the Finance Manager:

• AAT or ACCA qualification required.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a strategic and proactive approach.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
• Experience using Xero and QuickBooks (desirable).
