The coming years represent an unprecedented time for us as we seek to build a New Museum for London. This role is an integral part of the New Museum project which is creating a brand new museum in West Smithfield and will lead the work package for Collections Preparation and play an important part in the preparation and development of the new Museum of London.
The Collections Preparation Officer will coordinate the Collections Information Upgrade Project to prepare museum collections for the exit from London wall and the move to new storage and galleries and will work closely with colleagues from across the organisation to coordinate and plan resources needed to support collections work for the New Museum.
