Role: Trustee
Reports to: Chair of the Board of Trustees
Accountable to: Board of Trustees
Based: Trowbridge, Wiltshire

At FearFree, we work tirelessly to break the cycle of domestic abuse, sexual violence, and stalking. Every day, we provide life-changing support to victims, survivors, and families across the Southwest. We empower individuals to rebuild their lives and help prevent future harm – ensuring long-term, sustainable change.
We are now seeking to bring complement our Board with dedicated and passionate Trustees who can play a key role in shaping our future.

What We’re Looking For

We are particularly keen to hear from individuals with expertise in:

  • Finance & Audit – Qualified or qualified-by-experience accountants to provide oversight of financial management, SORP, and charity finances from the private or charity sector.
  • Commissioning & Public Sector Funding – Understanding of how services are commissioned, particularly in areas such as domestic abuse, young people, and health services.
  • Diversity & Inclusion – Passionate about equality and able to lead on EDI initiatives to create a more inclusive organisation.
  • Safeguarding – Experience in safeguarding vulnerable individuals and ensuring best practices are upheld.
  • Charity Law & Compliance – Knowledge of charity governance and legal frameworks.
  • Fundraising & Digital Media – Skills in social media, digital campaigns, and fundraising to help grow our reach and impact.
