Roles and Responsibilities:

• Teach across all levels and abilities, including GCSE and Functional Skills English.
• Inspire and engage pupils, fostering curiosity, interest, and enjoyment in English.
• Ensure all pupils have equal access to English and experience success in their work.
• Develop students’ familiarity, competence, and confidence with key English concepts, principles, methods, and vocabulary.
• Dedicate extra time when needed to help students reach their highest potential.
• Contribute to departmental responsibilities as required.

Skills and Requirements:

• Right to work in the UK.
• A UK-recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent) is essential.
• Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current teaching techniques and topics in English instruction.
• Excellent spoken and written English language skills.
• Experience delivering English instruction.
