Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are currently seeking dedicated and adaptable Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work across various SEN schools and colleges in London.

Job Description:

We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic LSAs to provide cover support for students with diverse learning needs. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that students receive the assistance they need to reach their full potential. Duties include:

  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in classroom settings
  • Assisting with daily learning activities, social development, and personal care when required
  • Working closely with teachers, therapists, and school staff to implement individualized learning plans
  • Encouraging positive behavior and engagement in lessons
  • Creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young adults with SEN (e.g., Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language difficulties, Physical Disabilities, SEMH needs)
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach to working with students
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential
  • Flexibility to work across different schools and colleges as required
