Morgan Hunt have partnered with a national Grade 2 Ofsted Training Provider who are looking to recruit a Level 5 Residential Childcare Assessor. This is a full time, fixed term contract for 12 months however has the possibility of becoming permanent. The role will involve delivering the Children, Young People and Families Residential Childcare Apprenticeship up to Level 5. The majority of the delivery will be remote however observations will be required. The learners for these Apprenticeships are based across the Midlands down to the South West therefore willingness to travel is essential. The salary for this role is paying between £31,000 – £37,000.

The Level 5 Residential Childcare Assessor will be responsible for:

  • delivering the Children, Young People and Families Residential Childcare Apprenticeships Standards from Levels 2-5
  • managing a caseload of up to 30 learners
  • ensuring learners documentation is compliant and correctly completed to ensure eligibility for funding
  • attending regular meetings with the quality team

The Level 5 Residential Childcare Assessor will need to hold:

  • a Level 4 (or above) qualification in Residential Childcare
  • an Assessor qualification
  • a minimum of a level 3 teaching qualification
  • previous experience delivering Residential Childcare Apprenticeships at Level 5
  • occupational competency within a residential setting within a management capacity
  • Minimum of grade C in Maths and English (or equivalent)
