Job Role:
We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant Team Leader who is passionate about improving staff performance through coaching and mentoring. We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude and can adapt within a fast-paced environment.
LSA Team Leaders line manage Learning Support Assistants and work closely with them to improve their confidence, skills and practice in delivering high standards of learning support. The successful candidate will build effective working relationships with both their own team and other colleagues across the College. The successful candidate will ensure that support for students is organised appropriately in line with the funding available for the support. They will be responsible for day-to-day co-ordination of Learning Support Assistants including their timetabling as well as liaising with local authorities in relation to funding.
The successful candidate will be a strong team player, with excellent communication skills. Experience of line management and a proven track record of developing staff to achieve objectives and improve standards are essential. It is not essential to have a background in learning support, as you will be provided with high quality training and personal development opportunities.
Pay/Hours:
£18 – £24 per hour
Full time (35+ hours per week)
