Are you a Homeless Housing Coordinator looking for work in North London?
Morgan Hunt’s Public Sector and Government client based in North London, is looking to recruit a Homeless Housing Coordinator to provide support throughout a busy period.
This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35.
We are looking for an experienced Homeless Housing Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in supporting vulnerable individuals and families facing homelessness. This role requires expertise in writing Section 184 decision letters and a solid understanding of safeguarding practices for vulnerable adults and children.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:
· Conduct thorough assessments of homelessness applications, ensuring legally compliant decisions under Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996.
· Write S184 Decision Letters.
· Act as a point of contact for safeguarding concerns, ensuring all necessary steps are taken to protect vulnerable adults and children in line with organizational and statutory safeguarding policies.
· Manage a diverse caseload, providing tailored housing advice and support while working to prevent and relieve homelessness.
· Work closely with internal teams, social services, health professionals, and external partners to deliver coordinated support for service users.
· Ensure all housing solutions adhere to relevant legislation and organizational policies.
